Special Features: Aptus seals are extruded TPEs. This material combines the flexibility of a thermoplastic with the functional performance and properties of a conventional thermoset rubber.Compression seal with a reach of .375″(9.5mm) for mounting distances of .19″ to .30″ and a bulb diameter of .300″(7.62mm). With a backing width of .270″(6.9mm), this T-slot base works in the majority of PVC and aluminum extrusions. Slipcoat on the top surface of the bulb reduces friction in sliding/sweeping applications. TPE bulb composition is an alternative to textile products in adverse environments.

Other Information: T-Slot Width 0.270″ (6.85mm) Flexible bulb acts as a mechanical seal with little resistance. Conforms to the shape of the sealing surface better than a rigid part. The T-slot base is made from rigid polypropylene which has a superior column strength, allowing for machine/automated insertion.
